DriveALog was created so that people who are otherwise productive never have to spend another night in agony, recreating a mileage log using Google maps and an appointment calendar. After searching in vain for the perfect app, we created DriveALog to free users from a menial task that is an exasperating waste of time and energy.

DriveALog is effective, while FANATICALLY SIMPLE. Just tap Start and “drive a log” – DriveALog uses your iPhone’s GPS to record your distance traveled, and then merges your calendar data with it to create a log AUTOMATICALLY – NO DATA ENTRY IS REQUIRED. DriveALog emails you the log as a ready to use HTML file, or as a CSV file you can edit in a spreadsheet or drop into an easy template. For your privacy, all data resides only on your phone until you send yourself a report by pressing one button, which DriveALog reminds you to do. Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
